Steelers Panthers Game!

Ahh, the joy....

Look at these photos. Lets start with the Steelers. They are with a doubt, the historically one of thebest franchise in the National Football League. They are the most rough, tough, scrappy bunch of men you will ever see in your life. It's kinda interesting that I like the Yanks, though. I guess that's because the Yanks are historically VERY classy. And the Steelers and the Yanks are very different. They are the two best franchises in their respective sports. Even though both teams have had struggles as of late. The Yanks are 12 and 1/2 games out of first place in their division, and the Steelers are having a rough off season. But, good off-season or not, I am a DIE-HARD Steelers fan. Those of you who know me can agree with that. And to all of you who say that the Yankees "buy" their championships I have this to say:
Just cause we have the money to get the TOP players, and the other teams don't:
HaHa!
Those of you ready to pledge your allegiance to one of these teams leave a comment specifying which one

Mrs. Rubin

Now 6 school days til summer! Dana, I would like to hold you up on your "offer" to take me to Carowinds with your family. This has nothing to do with this blog, but I wanted to let you know where we stand. Now:

Mrs. Rubin is my math teacher. She is very young (not gonna tell her age) and she is spazmatic. She looks up to Kim Possible... That's right Kim Possible. She is the coolest math teacher that I've ever had, and that's kinda weird considering the fact that most math teachers are considered to be boring. Anyways, we just had field day today, and she walks around snapping pictures at everyone left and right. She is the girls soccer coach, and she does the best imitation of one of the players(mrs. rubin, you know who this is). Let me just tell you, today during volley ball and toug-of-war she was like SCREAMING AT US like "Come on you guys, you can't lose to them". She makes Algebra 1 fun, during which she usually cracks a few jokes on a boy in our class named Jordan(mrs. rubin you know why). About Kim Possible. She idolizes Kim Possible so she imitates her by designing her own clothing line. "KP's". She bought like 5 pairs of them at Gap and wears them everyday. She walks into class not matching, and we will tell her, and she's like"ya, isn't it totally cool". Overall she is hilarious and she can draw like a freakin maniac. She can draw me in like 5 mins. VERY DETAILED TOO. Don't even get me started on how she teaches Alge.1...........

Mrs. Rubin, if you read this please leave a comment and tell me what you think about my description of you.

To the rest of you who read this, you are totally confuse arent you. Like Mrs. Rubin says " That's my job"

End Of School Routine

For those of you who don't know (which probably includes everyone) our school ends June 8th. Yeah, I know, we get out late. Tell me about it. But there are a few perks to it. 1, we can have end-of-the-year-pool-parties since it's not so cold outside and the water warmed up. 2, we don't go back until August 25th. 3, Well, actually that's it. Anyways, the ending weeks of school are hectic probably because of a totally insane schedule. So, let me take you through a blog-o-sphereical tour of the last month of my life.

Early-May: We go into "Review Groups". This is a two week period of intense reviewing for the "EOG". That is an End-Of-Grade test. We have them in 3 subjects. Math, Language Arts, and newly Science. So, we get mixed up with other kids on our team. (a team is a section of teachers). FAST FORWARD:

May 22nd: 1st day of EOG's. Tuesday of this week. Today is a L.A. day. A 56 question test full of boring selections.

May 23rd: 2nd day of EOG's. Wednesday of the week. Math day. A 80 something question test.

May 24th: Today. Last day of EOG's. Science day. A 92...that's right 92 question test. Now, this test is something of a "field test". This is something of a "practice test" but the teachers don't want to admit that the test doesn't count. Either way, pass of fail, this test won't hold us back. Well, my science teacher is my Sunday School teacher. Just thought I'd throw that in. Basically , I didn't feel prepared for the test, because... well, I don't know why. It was just one of those feelings.

May 25th: Annual Signing Day: Tomorrow. We get to go out with the whole eigth grade to sign each other's yearbooks... you know how that goes.

All right, I'll wrap it up.
Here's the point;
  1. We finish the EOG with 2 and a half weeks left of school.
  2. Then we have EOC's. Basically end-of-course tests.
  3. We have various fun days left in the year for the last 2 weeks of the year, but Lord have mercy, what are we gonna do for 2 weeks??

OH, did i mention?? I'm going to high school next year?

I CANT WAIT

Dollywood

Yesterday(Friday) me, mom, Dylan, my Aunt Amy and her whole family (except Brian) went to Dollywood. It wasn't exactly the warmest day ever having a high of 65 but with no sun shining the whole day. OH, did I mention that 1/4 of the park is water rides?? Well, let me give you a little backround information on Dollywood. It is named after Dolly Parton, is located in the center of 2 mountains, and is shaped somewhat like a "L". So, my favorite ride is the Tenessee Tornado (which is in the very back of the park) is a very long walk from the entrance. It has a 130 foot drop straight down, applies 4 G-forces to your body, goes 70mph, has 3 loops, and drops straight into a mountain. So, you guessed it THRILLING. I rode it 3 times. At the front of the park is a new section called......I don't remember the name. Well, it has the Thunderhead ride. I rode this ride 7 times It is a wooden ride and has the country's ONLY(wooden) fly-by. That is when a roller coaster goes through the station during the ride. As you can imagine, when a roller coaster is going upwards of 40 mph on a wooden track, it is very loud. Then there's the Mystery Mine. The lines were very long the whole day for that ride, as in 1hr,45min long. So, I had to ride it some time so I did. It was AWESOME!! It has a 95 ft. drop, and an 85ft drop. It also has 2 90 degree climbs. STRAIGHT UP with no angle whatsoever. That was awesome.

Now to the WATER RIDES. I rode "River Rampage" which takes you through rapids. That means that one person on every boat gets SOAKED. Guess who that person was????
ME!!
Okay, it's 4 oclock and i've dried from river rampage(which we rode at 12o'clock) and now we are getting on Daredevil Drop. Water ride. I didn't get soaked on this one, but I got drizzled with water. Now we're on Mountain Sidewinder. First off, you have to climb a mountain to get to the darn thing. Next, a worker has to weigh you to see if you are heavy enough to ride it. If you aren't, then he pairs you up with other people. So, I'm on the ride, and this is my first time on the ride. It got me a little wet. FAST FORWARD: Next time I'm on the ride I get DRENCHED all through my sweatshirt, everything. Then we rode other various non-water rides till seven when it closed. It was a fun day, and a wet one.

P.S. I still don't think my clothes have dried 12 hours later!!

PPS. I fixed my clock on the bottom of the page, so whenever you see the time, that is the time that I published it
