So, it all comes down to this.
Workouts started on June 12th, and i have only missed five days since the start of workouts. And that was to go to Caswell. Well, our first game is tomorrow night, and I am actually starting at Tight End (TE). That is saying something considering the fact that last year, i got ripped off, in the way tht i didn't get to even get looked at for starting QB. Anyways.... starting is a pretty big deal, and especially for a Freshman who is playing with Sophmores also. But I can't wait til tomorrow, and i will be sending picts tomorrow night, so this was just a heads up post i guess you could say. Tomorrow, I will make a new post with picts, so check it out

I thought i would settle the score...
OK, i admit my last post was a little bit of a let down, but my blog pool was dryer than the lakes up here. Here is the point of my post:
Jason Bourne Compared To Jack Sparrow.
I will compare facts between the two movie heroes.
Jason and Jack compared:
Jason Bourne and Jack sparrow. More manly name? goes to Jason. super heroes arent named after birds. Score Jason
Swords and Guns. Swords=midievel Guns=21 century. Score Jason
Jason=has a girlfriend, Jack= tried to take Will's. Score Jason
Jason=not super pretty girlfriend; Jack=smokin hot "companion". Score Jack
Jason=tries to save lives; Jack=tries to take them. Score Jason
Jason=never dies; Jack=dies but comes back to life. Score Jack for incredible recovery
Jason=never did die; Jack= has died. Score Jason
Jason=works for good people; Jack=tries to kill them. Score Jason
Jason=wins the poll on bryan's blog; Jack=loses poll. Score Jason
And now for the score totals:
Jason=7, Jack=2.
But i realize that Jason and Jack each "contribute" to history in two totally different century's. Theoretically that would be comparing apples and oranges since they had totally different weapon choice, enemies, modes of transportation, and settings.
Ahhh, who cares, we compare apples and oranges regularly, so why not compare Jason and Jack? I do not think Dana has even seen the third installation of the Bourne movies, so she really has no grounds to prove that Jack is better. Of course I haven't seen the third installment of Pirates, so I have no grounds to talk. Once agair that would be comparing apples, and oranges. But who cares about apples and oranges, the new term for that would be comparing Jason to Jack.
So Dana, i hate to tell you but it looks like Jason wins this series of "debates". So maybe you should think about your driving abilities instead of Jason and Jack when you are on the road. And one more thing, i hope this post provided some insight on the topic Jason vs. Jack.
You look tired, you should get some rest!

The Tube
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear Youtube?
Multi-million dollar computer company, inappropriate videos, educational, helpful, or just a waste of time?
Well it is actually all of those things. I personally spend a lot of time on the Tube, and I usually watch music performances live, or football videos, or piano covers of songs... you get the point. Well I think that the people who created Youtube will eventually make users pay to become members, so i strongly advise you to become a member now. I am considering this also. I think this because Youtube already has 120 something million dollars since they were sold to Google. And that is even with the site being free to access. They make money off Youtube because of the advertisements on the side bars, and the TV commercials. I also like Youtube because if I want to buy a song on Itunes, but i don't know if it has any "vulgar" language in it, i can just head on over to the Tube and check it out for myself therefore saving me $.99, and a wasted song if it is bad.
Well that is not the point of this post. The point is to show how much revenue a free internet site can generate. Here are the numbers:
(numbers courtesy of wikipedia)
Annual monthly income: $15 million
In late 2006, Google bought online video site Youtube for $1.65 billion in stock
Well, Youtube also has televised the presidential debates, and the Youtube video awards.
Obviously Youtube is a billion dollar industry.

Like many technology startups, YouTube was started as an angel-funded enterprise from a makeshift office in a garage. In November 2005, venture firm Sequoia Capital invested an initial $3.5 million;additionally, Roelof Botha, partner of the firm and former CFO of PayPal, joined the YouTube board of directors. In April 2006, Sequoia put an additional $8 million into the company, which had experienced huge popular growth within its first few months.
During the summer of 2006, YouTube was one of the fastest growing websites on the Web, and was ranked the 5th most popular website on Alexa, far outpacing even MySpace's rate of growth. According to a July 16, 2006 survey, 100 million video clips are viewed daily on YouTube, with an additional 65,000 new videos uploaded every 24 hours. The website averages nearly 20 million visitors per month, according to Nielsen/NetRatings, where around 44% are female, 56% male, and the 12- to 17-year-old age group is dominant. YouTube's preeminence in the online video market is staggering. According to the website Hitwise.com, YouTube commands up to 64% of the UK online video market.
Wikinews has related news:
Google purchases YouTube for $1.65 billion
On October 9, 2006, it was announced that the company would be purchased by Google for US$1.65 billion in stock. The purchase agreement between Google and YouTube came after YouTube presented three agreements with media companies in an attempt to escape the threat of copyright-infringement lawsuits. YouTube will continue operating independently, with its co-founders and 67 employees working within the company. The deal to acquire YouTube closed on November 13, and was, at the time, Google's second largest acquisition.
Well there is Youtube in a rather large nutshell, hope you enjoyed it.

What can Bourne do for you?
Well, let me start off by saying that yes, i know that I haven't posted in a long time, but this one will be good.
Just a few hours ago, we went to see the Bourne Ultimatum. I haven't seen the first two, so I thought I would kinda be lost. Turns out it was pretty easy to follow. It had very good action scenes, and the smarts and wit of Jason Bourne is...INCREDIBLE. For anyone who hasn't seen it, I strongly advise you to see it!! If you like 24, then you will be blown away by Bourne. I thought this was probably the best movie I have seen all year, if it's not the best I've ever seen in my life! I put a video of the trailor of it on the side of my blog. At least check out the trailor. Here is a basic overview of the plot line courtesy of Fandango.com
All he wanted was to disappear. Instead, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is now hunted by the people who made him what he is. Having lost his memory and the one person he loved, he is undeterred by the barrage of bullets and a new generation of highly-trained killers. Bourne has only one objective: to go back to the beginning and find out who he was. He must travel from Moscow, Paris, Madrid and London to Tangier and New York City as he continues his quest to find the real Jason Bourne—all the while trying to outmaneuver the scores of cops, federal officers and Interpol agents with him in their crosshairs.
This movie is different from the hundreds of action movies in this way:
It combines smarts, strength, and REALISM all in one movie.
The website rottentomatos.com is a movie critic site that rates movies with a percent that comes from EVERY review ever published(from the smallest article to the New York Times) and gives it a percentage. They get this percentage based on the number of GOOD reviews compared with the number of BAD reviews. Well, this movie scored something like a 92% which is the highest I've ever witnessed. Compare this to the " Bratz" movie that also comes out this weekend, which got a 8%.
I am just trying to give you people something to do this weekend, so take my words wisely and go see the Bourne Ultimatum. And check out the movie trailor(s) on the sidebar of the page.
Until next time dear fans......
